Girls Who Code Club

Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m., beginning October 18. We are launching a Wayland branch of the National Girls Who Code Club. The mission of GWC is to help bridge the gender gap in technology fields. Girls will learn Scratch, JavaScript, AppInventor, Python, HTML/CSS and more, to build graphics, videogames, and websites. The club will meet every Tuesday during the school year, and will be run by a Wayland parent volunteer. Girls in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to register here, starting on September 14. We need to limit the club to 15 girls. If you can, bring your own laptop, but this is not required. Questions? Email Pam at pmccuen@minlib.net or call her at 508-358-2308.
