COMMUNITY FORUMS: Update on New Library Plans

The outcome of Article 11, at April’s Town Meeting, determines the next steps in Wayland’s library construction grant application.
Two public forums will give residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposed library project — the preliminary design concept included in the application, the project timeline, and the Town Meeting article.
Tappé Architects, the Board of Library Trustees, and the Library Planning Committee will be on hand to answer questions.

Wayland residents are invited to attend a forum to update the community on progress made on the Library Planning and Design Study funded at Town Meeting last year. Two sites have been selected for further study: 5 Concord Road (the site of the current library) and 207-195 Main Street (the former Highway Garage site). Please attend the forum at on Tuesday, July 26, at 7 p.m. in the Town Building Large Hearing Room and give us your thoughts.
