Leader in the community. Deacon of Unitarian Church for 43 years.

Warren Roby, 1834 – 1897

Summered at 11 Concord Road, the Georgian House next door to the library. Donated both the funds

and land to build the library by 1898 bequest. Portrait painted by Lucy Haywood, a member of the

Copley Society and given by Cynthia Roby.
