The Wayland Free Public Library offers Discount Passes to the following museums and venues.

Discount details are subject to change by the museum, and may take time to be accurately reflected on this page.

Boston Children’s Museum

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours. It does not need to be returned.

Coupon offers admission for up to 4 people adults or children at half price per person. All visitors after their first birthday require a ticket.

After receiving a library discount coupon, the Boston Children’s Museum recommends reserving your entry ticket with them online as museum capacity is limited at this time.

Patrons must first acquire a dated library discount pass.

Then visit Reserve Tickets

Click on the “Discount Tickets” button.

From the drop-down list, select a day/time for your visit & enter the number of “Half Price Library Tickets” required. The ADD TO CART button is at the bottom of the page.

The date on the library discount pass must match the date of your visit.

Boston Harbor Islands

This is an e-voucher. Discount code is e-mailed to the patron.

The discount code can be used to purchase up to 2 Buy-One-Get One discounted tickets for the following:

Summer Schedule: June 20 – September 2
Boston to Spectacle Island: Monday through Friday
Boston to Georges Island: Monday through Friday
Hingham to Peddocks Island: Monday through Friday

Fall Schedule: September 5 – September 22
Boston to Georges Island: Thursday through Sunday

End of Season Schedule: September 27 – October 11
Boston to Georges Island: Friday through Sunday

Use the calendar to select the date you’d like to visit.

Select your destination and departure time.

Select either 2 or 4 tickets per transaction. (Note: The BOGO code won’t work if you try to buy only 1 ticket.)

Enter your library’s unique code in the “Coupon/Voucher Code” field and click apply.

Complete your transaction & bring your phone or printed copy of your barcode to board the ferry.

Davis Farmland

This is a laminated pass.

Patrons may pick up their pass during the Library’s open hours on the day before or the day of their visit. The pass must be returned to Wayland by the day after its use.

Each pass admits up to 4 people to either farm park with a savings of $10 per person off the purchased-at-the-gate general admission rate. Children under 2 are always free.

Davis Farmland Discovery Farm is open April 13 – October 2023.

Davis Mega Maze is open mid-September – October 2023.

Pass is not valid with other discounts, groups or special events.

Adults must be accompanied by a child 12-years of age and under.

Discovery Museum

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned. Only Valid for the Reserved Date of Visit.

Each coupon allows for admission of three people to the Museum at half price off regular admission. Children under age one are free. This coupon is NOT a museum entry reservation.

You MUST reserve a ticket for a specific day and time prior to your visit.

Tickets can be reserved on the Discovery Museum’s website or by phone (978-264-4200). No on-site ticket reservations will be available.

Your tickets are only valid for the date and time you reserve.

No payment will be collected online, you will pay when you arrive. Present your Library Pass to Admissions staff when checking in and the discount will be applied to the cost of your visit.

Ecotarium

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned. Please fill in the information on the back of the coupon before use.

Each coupon admits up to 2 adults and 2 children in one vehicle at 50% off admission. Children under 2 are always free.

When using the Library Pass discount, tickets cannot be reserved online – tickets must be purchased in person.

These coupons do not cover the cost for tickets to the Alden Planetarium, the Explorer Express Train, or other special ticketed events.

Garden in the Woods

This is a SET OF 2 laminated passes, each pass offers discount to ONE person:

Adults (age 18 and over) receive 50% the regular admission price. Children (age 6 to 17) are admitted for $1. Children (age 5 and younger) are admitted for free.

Patrons may pick up their passes the day before or the day of their visit. The passes must be returned to the Wayland Library by the day after your visit.

Tickets are available at the Visitor Center when you arrive.

Please check their website for weather closings, special events, parking updates, etc. before visiting.

Garden in the Woods is open to visitors seven days a week between 10 am and 5 pm from mid-April to mid-October.

Gore Place

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned.

Each coupon permits two adults and two accompanied children to tour the Mansion at the reduced rate of $5 per adult and free for the accompanying children–regularly $16 per adult and $11 for children ages 6-16.

The pass also permits pass holders to rent a Take-a-Walk bag for $2–regularly $5. Take-a-Walk bags for youth ages 4 and up contain outdoor seasonal activities for up to two children and are available Monday-Saturday.

Mansion tours are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays. Advance tickets and reservations are not required – walk-ins are welcome and encouraged!

Please note:

The Mansion Tour coupon is good for daytime Mansion tours only and may not be used during evening or special themed tours or during special events such as the Sheep Shearing Festival at Gore Place.

Days and times are subject to change, so it is best for visitors to consult the museum website when planning your visit. Event and holiday closings as well as school vacation hours are all listed on their website.

Harvard Museum of Natural History & Peabody Museum

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned.

Each coupon will allow four patrons into the museums at a 50% off rate regardless of age / admission level.

Please be prepared to show the physical library pass and proof of Massachusetts residency. Only one member of the party must be a MA resident.

The pass allows admission to both the Harvard Museum of Natural History and Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, as well as two free museums, the Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East (formerly the Harvard Semitic Museum) and the Harvard Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments. Patrons will enter through the Natural History or Peabody Museum with their hard copy pass.

Institute of Contemporary Art

This is an e-voucher. Pass is e-mailed to the patron.

This library pass entitles you to up to two tickets for Gallery Admission at the discounted Library Pass rate.

Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased online: https://www.icaboston.org.

Click on “Buy Tickets” and select your chosen date for ICA General Museum Admission

Click on “Library Pass Coupon” ticket price. Anyone 18 and under receive complimentary admission and should use the ticket price “Youth (0-12)” or “Youth (13-18)

Follow steps to complete order. Your ICA tickets will be emailed to vou.

When you arrive at the ICA, proceed to the visitor services desk with your tickets and your library pass. Please show this Library pass to the staff member at the Visitor Services desk.

The Museum recommends purchasing advance tickets online, however tickets can be arranged in person at the Visitor Services desk by showing this pass to the staff member. Hours and days of operation can be found on the museum website: https://www.icaboston.org/visit

Your ticket is valid for entry any time during the date selected. Please note: last entry to the museum is 20 minutes prior to closing time.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

This is an e-voucher. Promo code and confirmation page are e-mailed to the patron.

Each pass provides up to four (4) people with $5 admission per person. Children under the age of 18 are always admitted for free.

You must print your library pass confirmation page or display it on your phone. The Museum requires also reserving timed-entry tickets in advance of your visit.

PATRONS MUST PRESENT BOTH THIS LIBRARY PASS AND THEIR RESERVED TIMED MUSEUM ADMISSION TICKETS FOR ENTRY INTO THE MUSEUM

This library pass is not an admission ticket and does not guarantee a reservation to the Museum.

To reserve Gardner Museum timed entry tickets online:

Submit the library promo code in the box at the top of the screen.

Select the visit date and a time to enter.

Add desired number of tickets to the basket. The discount only works for up to 4 Adult priced tickets and any additional ticket will be normally priced (Children under 18 are always admitted for free and should be reserved as child tickets).

Login or create an account.

Finish checking out (discount is applied only at checkout).

JFK Library and Museum

NO RESERVATION REQUIRED.

No pass needed, just your library card!

Present your physical or digital Massachusetts library card at the Admissions Desk to receive a 50% discount on one admission ticket.

This offer is valid for visitors aged 13 and over and EACH VISITOR must present a Massachusetts library card to receive the discount. You must have your physical or digital library card in hand at the museum; the museum cannot access the library system to look up your account.

A digital version of your library card can be accessed on your mobile device via the Minuteman Library Network app. You will need to know your account username or library card number, and your library account password or PIN. Your password can be reset at https://wayland.minlib.net/MyAccount/Home.

Visitors aged 12 and under always receive free admission, with or without a library card.

Massachusetts Audubon (Drumlin Farm & others)

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned.

A library staff member must fill out the date of your visit on the pass before its use.

Each pass admits up to 4 people at $2 per person to any Massachusetts Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary, including Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, MA (Children under age 2 are always free.)

Holiday calendar, days open and hours of operation vary by property – please check the Mass Audubon website for more details.

Drumlin Farm Hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm • Closed Mondays (except holidays) • Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Massachusetts State Parks / DCR

Patrons must pick up and return pass to Wayland– Patrons may pick up their pass during the Library’s open hours on the day before or the day of their visit. The pass must be returned by the day after its use.

Pass allows free daytime parking for one carload of visitors to all Massachusetts State Parks that charge a parking fee. (Except Nahant and Nantasket).

Museum of Fine Arts

This is an e-voucher. Promo Code is e-mailed to the patron.

Each Promo Code use allows 2 people at $10 per person. Children 6 and under are admitted for free.

Note: The date of your museum visit must match the date you reserved with the library.

To reserve online: Visit https://mfa.org/tickets – after you select a date to visit, click the button for General Admission Tickets, enter your Promo Code, click Submit, and then you will be able to select Library Pass from the ticket options. If you reserved multiple MFA Library Discount Passes because your party has more than 2 visitors, you may need to purchase tickets in multiple transactions (2 discounted tickets/Discount Pass).

By phone: Call 1-800-440-6975. $6 per-order processing fee applies to all phone orders.

In person: You may also use the Promo Code on site to reserve same-day tickets, but must present the e-mailed confirmation from the library with the code to receive the discount. Make sure to enter your email address and request a confirmation email when reserving a date on the library’s booking website

Museum of Science

This is an e-voucher. Pass is e-mailed to the patron.

This pass offers up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are always admitted for free.

You may purchase tickets in person on the day of your visit, but it is recommended that you make an advance reservation. To reserve a discounted ticket, please call 617-723-2500 and let the representative know that you will be using a Library Pass.

The date of your museum visit must match the date you reserved on the library’s booking website.

Please bring your library pass confirmation on your phone (or a print out of it) with you to the Box Office when you arrive at the Museum to purchase your Exhibit Halls passes at the discounted rate.

New England Aquarium

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours. It does not need to be returned.

This coupon allows 50% off admission to the New England Aquarium for up to 4 people.

This is not an Aquarium entry ticket. Redeem this coupon in the General Admission line at the Aquarium’s ticket booth for discounted admission. Advanced reservations are not available for library patrons with coupons. Please visit neaq.org/coupons for details. Review the Aquarium’s safety guidelines at www.neaq.org/safety ahead of your visit to ensure a safe and accessible experience.

Valid only for Aquarium admission.

This coupon does not provide any other discounts and cannot be applied to combo tickets.

This coupon is valid only for one day. You can either print it out and take it with you or display the pass on your phone or device. Either way, please be sure that the pass barcode is visible.

New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill

This is a physical pass that must be picked up and returned to Wayland. Patrons may pick up their pass during the Library’s open hours on the day before or the day of their visit. The pass must be returned by the day after its use.

Each pass offers 2 people half price general admission. Discount not valid for special events such as Night Lights.

The physical pass from the library must be shown at check-in. The Library Discount Pass is not an entry ticket to the Garden.

While you can buy tickets in person at the Garden, they recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to secure your preferred date.

Select the required number of General Admission tickets, click Add to Cart, and on the next page you will be able to apply the Library Pass promotional code found on the confirmation page for this discount reservation.

Trustees of Reservations (deCordova & others)

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned.

Discounts vary between properties!

The Library coupon is not an admission ticket. When reserving tickets through the trustees website, select the GOPASS option. You also need to have the physical coupon in hand when you arrive at your destination.

Each pass provides free or reduced admission for 2 adults and any number of children (under the age of 18) at 116 preserved lands and estates across Masschusetts, including Fruitlands and Old Manse. Please note, each pass is valid only toward general admission fees and not special events.

USS Constitution Museum

This is an e-voucher. Pass is e-mailed to the patron.

This pass admits 9 people for free. You can either present a printed confirmation page or display it from your phone or other device at the Museum. Valid only for the date listed on this pass. One pass per party, please.

Please note that the ship and museum have different hours. Museum Hours: Open Daily; Winter Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Summer Hours: 9:00AM – 6:00PM. The Museum closes for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, and closes early on Christmas Eve.

Zoo New England (Franklin Park & Stone Zoos)

This is a paper coupon that must be picked up at the Wayland Library during the library’s open hours no more than 1 week before its use date. It does not need to be returned.

The library discount coupon is not a Zoo admission ticket.

Your coupon can be redeemed in person, and tickets can be purchased at the gate. Online reservations are not needed.

Each pass admits up to 6 persons at $9 per adult and $6 per child (ages 2-12). Children under 2 are admitted for free.

Library discount passes may be used for general daytime admission only. They cannot be used for evening events such as Boston Lights.
