Saturday, Feb 2, 3pm – Situated in the Horn of Africa, Ethiopia is an intriguing mix of ancient and modern, and a land of many superlatives. It has been named the most welcoming country for tourists. It is also the home of man’s ancestors, the land where coffee originated, and the source of the Nile River. The only African nation never to be colonized, Ethiopian offers a unique and fascinating cultural diversity with its 80 tribes. There are many dazzling sights; its unique 800-year old rock hewn churches, the 400-year old castles of Gonder, referred to as Africa’s Camelot, lush highland mountain scenery, surging rivers and spectacular waterfalls, and unique wildlife.
