The Wayland Free Public Library is closed effective immediately. The decision to close is only one part of the broader public health attempt to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Board of Library Trustees will work with Library and Town staff to determine what, if any services, may continue to be available, such as electronic and digital resources, ordering and picking up books.
We urge ALL residents to evaluate their own health and determine if they are feeling mildly ill with a head cold, headache, cough and/or experiencing any CDC identified symptoms of COVID-19. If you are feeling any symptoms, we advise you to contact the Wayland Health Department at the Coronavirus Hotline 508-358-6805 and your primary care physician for guidance.
