A Little Something: Crafts for Kids with Elise

Categories:

Celebrate Earth Day with crafts! Join Children’s Librarian Elise Katz for a demonstration of a simple Earth Day craft inspired by the iconic photo of the Earth taken during Apollo 17’s flight to the moon in 1972. This photo, called “The Blue Marble,” was the first image people had seen of the Earth from space.  To make the craft all you need is a round cake tin, paper, marbles, and tempura paint. Click here to view the video or check it out anytime on our Facebook Page or our Youtube Page. We will post a new craft demonstration every Wednesday.
