Being creative with food puts me in my happy place. Fortunately, cooking is on the list of things I am allowed to do. I am going crazy over Power Spicing: 60 Simple Recipes for Antioxidant-Fueled Meals and a Healthy Body by Rachel Beller!
Rachel includes DIY spice mixes like “Cinnapeel Breakfast Blend” and “Veggie Power Up Blend.” Then she offers recipes that use the spice blends. She has taught me to love cinnamon in hot chocolate and I’m bananas about “Banana Silver Dollar Pancakes.”  It involves a blender, oatmeal, and the bananas are the sweetener.
