FYI: Have I read this already?

Need help keeping track of the books you’ve read?
What about the books you want to read?
Check out these 5 options:

Minuteman Account Reading History
Patrons often ask us “can you see if I’ve checked this out already?” and, well, we can’t. To preserve your privacy, we don’t keep records of what you check out. But YOU can! Log in to your Minuteman account and click on “Reading History” in the left column, and then “Save Reading History.” From now on, you’ll be able to see what you’ve checked out in your “Reading History.” (By default, this option is turned off.)

GoodReads
With a GoodReads account you can record, categorize, rate and share books you’ve read and books you want to read. Add your friends to share book recommendations. Use the GoodReads app to scan the cover or barcode of a book to add it to your lists. GoodReads is owned by Amazon so you may see some integrations with your Kindle or Amazon purchases. There are also social book lists and frequent author interactions on GoodReads.

LibraryThing
Keep track of your home library and/or the books you’ve read with LibraryThing. LibraryThing offers ad-free robust cataloging and “social tagging” to connect readers and books. Make your lists private or share them with fellow readers. Scan your books to add them to your library. LibraryThing users are self-proclaimed “book geeks.” Together they have cataloged over 200 “legacy libraries” of books owned by famous people. Be sure to check out the “Zeitgeist” page which gives a snapshot of recent activity site-wide.

Google Sheets
If you’re more of a DIY or anti-social-media person, create a Google Sheet to keep track of your books. Access it from any computer or your smartphone.

Pen and Paper
Of course, you could also just write it down!
