Sunday, Feb 28, 5:00 pm – In celebration of Black History Month, the Town of Wayland’s Racial Justice Advisory Committee looks forward to hosting the first event of its “Our Wayland: Community Conversations” series on Sunday, February 28th from 5:00-6:30pm.
This lively virtual event will be opened by Wayland resident Russell Ashton, and will feature Wayland Police Officer DaLonn Pearson sharing “My Journey to Wayland,” a personal account of his experience as the second African-American police officer in the Town of Wayland. A question and answer period and small group discussion will follow.
