Sunday, Feb 12, 3:00 PM – Bring your loves to the Library Rotunda for an Sunday afternoon concert! Express Lane Barbershop Quartet sings old and new songs in the traditional barbershop style.
Formed as a new quartet in mid-2015, their smoothly blended sound reflects a total of more than 50 years’ experience singing barbershop harmony. Rob Freundlich (Lead) and Doug Burum (Baritone) previously sang together for 8 years in the Northeastern District medalist quartet “Concord eXpress.” Jim Kenealy (Bass) has sung in several area quartets, including “Sentimental Gentlemen. Finally, Wayland resident Jon Pachter (Tenor) has sung in a quartet in the past, and has been active for some time in a few different jazz bands.
Together they have a sound and style that is Expressly their own!
