February 7 – Book Donations Temporarily Suspended. The Friends of the Wayland Library cannot accept any book donations inside or outside of the Library at this time. This is a temporary arrangement while they relocate their Ongoing Book Sale to the Library’s Raytheon Room, which will allow them to expand their selection. Please stay tuned for news of donations resuming (and the Friends’ first major book and bake sale in the new space)!In the meantime, here are some other places to donate:
- Book donation bins on Route 20, across the street from CVS near Cook’s Automotive.
- More Than Words in Waltham, MA has local drop-off bins. Look them up here. The closest to Wayland appears to be at the Weston Transfer Station, 195 Church St in Weston.
- Other local libraries – call to ask!
