Judy Hoyer’s Poetry Book Launch


Sunday, April 2, 3:00 PM – Wayland resident, Judy Hoyer’s just-published poetry collection, Imagine That, published by FutureCycle Press in February 2023, will be the feature at a poetry reading on Sunday, April 2 at 3:00 pm at The Wayland Public Library. She will be introduced by Heather Treseler, poet, essayist, and professor of English at Worcester State University.

Judy is a 50-year resident of Wayland. After a career as a school psychologist she began writing poetry as a member of the Wayland Poetry Workshop, a group that meets in the library every other week. “Imagine That,” published by FutureCycle Press in February 2023 is her first full-length collection of poetry. Her poems have appeared in journals that include, Atlanta Review, CALYX Magazine, Cider Press Review, Southwest Review, Tar River Review, The Moth (Ireland), The New York Times (Metropolitan Diary) and The Yale Journal for Humanities in Medicine.
