Borrow a Museum Discount Pass and learn about wind power at the USS Constitution Museum this April.
Tuesday, April 16, join the Kite Workshop and learn about kite history and the science of kite flying.
Wednesday, the 17th, build a kite with one of the Museum’s kite kits or bring your own to fly for Kite Flying Day.
The Museum is celebrating wind power all week, with opportunities to make a colorful windsock and to design, build, and test your own miniature wind-powered ship.
Their on-going exhibits will be available, too: Learn to furl a sail like a Navy sailor, or get creative building a ship in their LEGO Brickyard.
