Introducing the Wayland Seed Library

Seed Libraries– places to check out seeds like you check out books from a regular library– are a growing trend around the country.

In the case of the Wayland Seed Library, you can keep your garden and our Seed Library supply sustainable by replanting the next generation of seeds after harvesting from your plants, but there is no need to return anything to the library.

Established by Wayland Girl Scout Troop 62720 and supplied with seed packets for both flowers and vegetables generously donated by Russell’s Garden Center, the Seed Library was created to be a community resource to inspire people to get started gardening, and keep our community beautiful and sustainable.
