The Friends of the Wayland Free Public Library is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of the Library by funding materials, services, and programs not covered by the regular Library budget. The annual membership drive and the ongoing book sale in the Raytheon Room are our major means of raising funds.
The Friends provide one-time funding for special projects, such as the website and furnishings for the rotunda and teen space, as well as a dependable source of support for:
Meredith Tobe, President
Emily Weintraub, Vice President
Sarah Hubbell, Treasurer
Jo Martell, Secretary

The ongoing sale in the Raytheon Room on the first floor includes adult, teen, young adult, and kids’ fiction and non-fiction books as well as DVDs, games, and puzzles. You’ll also find CDs and back issues of magazines for FREE. We also occasionally hold themed sales, e.g. children’s books, holiday books.
Opportunities include Steering Committee membership, help with the book sales, and assistance with special projects. For more information, please send an email to: member.friendsofwaylandlibrary@gmail.com
