Kids and Teens are invited to enter our 5th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!
Compete for Best Carved or Best Decorated pumpkin! We will have contests for Kids ages 3-11 and Teens ages 12-19. Submit 1 photo (only 1 photo) of your pumpkin then vote online for the winners. See below for important dates and details.
October 1: Registration opens for a free library pumpkin. You are also welcome to use your own pumpkin or gourd. Please complete a separate registration form for each person who needs a pumpkin.
October 17-22: If you registered for a free library pumpkin, stop by the library to pick it up. We will send a reminder email to registrants with details about where to get your pumpkin.
October 23: Email your pumpkin photos by the end of day to Carly at cmoniz@minlib.net. Please indicate when you submit photos which category (Carved or Decorated) and which age group (Kids or Teens) you are participating in.
October 25-30: Visit us on Facebook or here on our Library Blog to vote for Best Carved and Best Decorated in the three age groups.
October 31: The winners will be announced!
