Tuesday, June 5th, 7:30pm. Hendrik Broekman, Technical Director of Hubbard Harpsichords will present! Harpsichords, despite being real, stubbornly remain less well understood than unicorns by most folk, aficionados aside. This program is intended to shed light on the making, music and other fascinations of this near-mythical instrument. It is hoped that one might make a personal appearance.
Hendrik Broekman has been involved with harpsichords all his adult life, both as maker and player. He progressed to his own shop in 1972. Since 1979 he has served as the Technical Director of Hubbard Harpsichords.
